ТНС starting and wagon batteries

Image 1

TNS (Tin-Nickel-Silicon) starting and wagon batteries are a type of automotive battery designed for specific applications. These batteries are often used in vehicles such as trucks, buses, and other heavy-duty vehicles, as well as in locomotives and railway wagons.

Starting Batteries: Starting batteries, including TNS starting batteries, are primarily designed to provide a burst of high current to crank the engine and start the vehicle. They deliver a short burst of power to get the engine running and are then quickly recharged by the vehicle's alternator. These batteries are known for their high cranking power and quick discharge capability.

Wagon Batteries: Wagon batteries are used in railway wagons and locomotives. They are designed to provide power for various functions in these vehicles, such as lighting, air conditioning, signaling systems, and other electrical components. Wagon batteries are typically deep-cycle batteries, which means they can handle repetitive deep discharges and recharges without significant degradation in performance.

TNS technology, which includes tin, nickel, and silicon in the battery's composition, can enhance the performance and durability of these batteries, making them suitable for demanding applications like heavy-duty transportation and railway systems. These batteries are engineered to withstand the rigors of frequent starts (in the case of starting batteries) and the extended discharges (in the case of wagon batteries) that are common in these applications.

+ ТНС batteries are primarily intended for starting internal combustion engines of diesel locomotives. Their secondary function is to support the electrical control circuit and lighting as well as other electrical equipment when the diesel engine is not running.

+ The 64V ТНС and 96V ТНС batteries are lead-acid batteries that consist of separate 4V sections. Each section consists of 2 elements, and if one of them is defective, it is not necessary to replace the entire section, but only a separate element.

The serial connection of the sections is done using corrosion-coated copper connectors.

The large amount of electrolyte reduces the need for frequent topping up of distilled water.

They have safety valves that allow the free release of gases, but do not allow splashing of electrolyte and falling contaminants in the elements. Degree of protection IP65.

Production under the control of DIN EN ISO 9001, ISO 45001

PzS (4B) mine industry

PzS (4B) batteries are a type of lead-acid battery specifically designed for use in the mine industry. Here's what the designation "PzS (4B)" typically signifies in the context of mine industry batteries:

PzS: The "PzS" part of the designation refers to the battery type. PzS batteries are a subtype of lead-acid batteries known for their robust construction and deep-cycle capabilities. They are often used in industrial applications, including the mining industry, where they need to provide reliable power over extended periods and endure frequent charging and discharging cycles.

4B: The "4B" part of the designation likely represents a specific model or variant within the PzS battery category. Different manufacturers and suppliers may have their own naming conventions and variations within the PzS series to meet the specific requirements of different industries, including mining.

In the mine industry, batteries like PzS (4B) are commonly used to power various equipment and machinery, including electric vehicles, lighting systems, communication devices, and safety equipment in underground mining operations. These batteries are chosen for their ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions, deliver consistent performance, and provide the necessary power for essential mining operations while ensuring safety and reliability.
